13 Degrees

Made in Nepal in two variations: Hand-knotted (Awakening), or as a combination of hand-knotted and traditional Soumak Weaving (Calming) – each made of 100% linen.

The designs captivate with detailed impressions of graphic formations and transparent color overlays. The name derives from the stripes arranged at an angle of exactly 13°. The colors appear like a classic screen print, similar to Warhol’s earlier works. As with Pop Art, we’ve taken the approach of reinterpreting everyday objects, as seen here where the layers are reminiscent of an abstract zebra crossing.
