POODLE POWER LTD.
The idea behind Pop Art was to rethink and showcase a different side of everyday objects. We’ve reinterpreted the concept of a poodle, the man-made animal par excellence as a pop art 3D concept. In the context of the digital, virtual reality, the classic animal appears as a counterpart to the typical hunting and power concepts of traditional carpet designs. Different CARPT characteristics such as tapes, layers and various dimensions come together in this design. Hand-knotted in Nepal, in Tibetan knot, made of linen, Chinese silk and handspun Himalayan virgin wool from Tibet.
