The traditional, floral design is entwined like a meadow of flowers through the striking stripes. The result is a complex interplay of foreground and background, which partly lies in the stripes and seems to move endlessly in other places. An astonishing dynamic emerges between the flower-covered bars. Hand-knotted in Nepal, in Tibetan knot, from linen and handspun Himalayan virgin wool from Tibet.
